Large Fire Occurs At 744 Troon Crossing

Fire crews responded to the report of a large structure fire at 744 Troon Crossing.

The call for the blaze came in at 7:15 Tuesday evening. We spoke to Washington Township Fire Department Chief Gene Hanning who said the fire was very involved upon arrival at the scene. The fire was contained in 15 minutes. Hanning said the home is a total loss. One person was transported due to minor burns and difficulty breathing. Perry Township Fire Department, Zanesville Fire Department, Genesis Community Ambulance and the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene. The fire remains under investigation.
