Largent Pleads Guilty

Muskingum Co.- One of six people charged in connection to an escape from the Muskingum County Jail plead guilty to three charges.
The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office said Eliveea Largent plead guilty to two counts of obstructing justice for hiding Wayne Pletcher and one count of tampering with evidence for deleting phone calls related to Pletcher’s February escape. She could face up to nine years in prison when she’s sentenced at a later date.
Authorities said on February 4, detectives found Largent and Leona Rivera-DeJesus, Pletcher’s cousin, outside Largent’s home on Moxahala Avenue. The two women admitted that Pletcher had been inside the house and that they knew about the escape. The investigation also showed that Pletcher had visited the house the night he escaped and came back on February 2nd, where he stayed until he was caught.
The other defendants that have been charged are still awaiting trial.
