Larry Campbell

Larry Dean Campbell, 73, passed away Monday, August 31, 2026, at his residence. He was born January 3, 1953, in Zanesville to the late Robert M. and L. Marie Cross Campbell. He was a 1971 graduate of West Muskingum High School and received an associate’s degree from Ohio University Zanesville campus. He was employed with Peabody Coal for over 20 years. He also owned his own commercial mechanic shop and also enjoyed DJ’ing music. Larry raced Late Model Stock Cars; coached Tri Valley girls’ basketball; and his grandson’s biddy league through the YMCA.

He is survived by his wife Linda Witucky Campbell; two sons: Chad Campbell and Robert Campbell; two daughters: Jody Campbell and Kimberly Hunt; a brother Mike Campbell; two sisters: Donna and Julie; and his grandchildren: Katlyn, Justine, Hollie, Myranda, Tori, Shane, Layla, Dylan, Cody, D.J., Devin, Ethan, Kason, Kinley, Khloey and Douglas; a great grandson; and two brothers in law: Jim Witucky and Steve Witucky.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Michael Campbell; four brothers: Denny Campbell, Bobby Campbell, Donald Campbell and David Campbell; and four sisters: Patty, Jenny, Susan and Kay.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8PM, Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. The funeral service will begin at 11AM, Wednesday, September 9, 2026, in the Snouffer Chapel with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
