The last American Kennel dog show of 2017

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- This weekend, the Zanesville Field House hosted the last day dog show of the year.
Sunday was the last day of The American Kennel Club dog show competition. One of the many pups competing in today’s agility course was a playful golden retriever named Brady.
“We’ve been participating in agility for about 10 years and we just really enjoy it. It can be such a positive experience for both the handler and the dog. The other handlers are so supportive in encouragement and showing appreciation for when the dogs do well,” said dog owner, Carol Lowy.
In addition to competing in the show today, Brady also had the pleasure of receiving his preferred agility championship.
“He received his preferred agility championship so it’s since he’s 7 years old, we moved him down to the next lower height. He’s already earned two master agility championships so this is his first what they call “pac”, said Lowy.
As this year’s event came to an end, qualified dogs and dog owners came out to showcase their talents. Many amazing pups gave the course their all, and next year’s show is already in the works.
