Latest Columbia Gas Restoration Update

As of 10:00 p.m. Friday:

Columbia Gas crews continue work to restore natural gas service to affected customers on the south side of Zanesville.

Please be advised. This work requires
the purging of our gas lines which may cause a natural gas odor in the
area. This is part of the restoration process. If you ever suspect a leak,
stop what you’re doing, leave the area and call 911 and Columbia Gas from
a safe place.

Customers that have special needs or
medical concerns should contact Columbia Gas at 1-800-344-4077.  

Shower facilities will remain available
for affected customers at the Muskingum Valley Recreation Center this Saturday
and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Identification is required to enter
the building. The Center is located at 1425 Newark Road Zanesville, Ohio,
43701.
