Laura Wisecarver

Laura Frances Wisecarver, 69, of Zanesville/Adamsville, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on June 13, 2026, with her loving family by her side. Laura was born on December 5, 1956, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Alber Wisecarver and Laura Wisecarver.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, William and Albert Wisecarver.

Laura leaves behind to cherish her memory her brother, Jerry Wisecarver; sister, Ruby (Bill) Lane of Adamsville; sister-in-law, Beverley Dooley; nieces and nephews, Darlene (Eric) Gill, Albert (Carrie) Wisecarver, Billy (Kayla) Lane, Randy (Elizabeth) Lane, William Wisecarver, Shawntay (Nick) Wisecarver, Daniel Fallon, and Dawson Fallon, Keiston, Kaiser and Cylas; as well as her special friend of many years, Bobby Foraker.

Laura enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, especially going out to eat with her sister-in-law Beverley at her favorite Chinese restaurant on Saturdays. She loved being surrounded by her family and treasured holiday dinners, cookouts, and every family gathering. Laura also enjoyed having a few wine coolers from time to time and spending time with her brother, with whom she shared a home. Her niece, Shawntay, had the honor of caring for her during the last two years of her life.

Laura will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Cremation will follow the visitation. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
