Lavern M. (Foley) Glenn, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025, at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville. Born on September 24, 1959, in Mansfield, Ohio, Lavern was a beacon of love and joy throughout her 66 years of life. Lavern was the heart of her family, a role she embraced with every fiber of her being. She was a devoted mother to her children, Shawn Glenn, Samantha Divers, and Scott Divers. Her love and legacy continue to shine through her grandchildren, Laiken and Luxton Glenn. Lavern was the beloved sister to Vera Foley, Rita Hiles, Teresa Thompson, and Allen Foley. She also held a special place in the hearts of her several nieces and nephews. Throughout her life, Lavern dedicated herself to the well-being of her family as a homemaker. Her unwavering commitment to her home and family was evident in the warmth and comfort that those who entered her home felt. Lavern was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and sister, whose guidance and support were the foundation of her family’s happiness and success. Lavern’s interests and hobbies brought great joy to her and those around her. She was known for her green thumb, as her house plants thrived under her attentive care. In her younger years, Lavern was the life of the party, her vibrant energy and hardworking nature leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met. Lavern was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Deanna (Fox) Foley, and her siblings, Kirby Foley and infant brother George Foley. Per her request, no calling hours or services will be observed and a dignified cremation will take place under the direction of Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 33 N. Main Street, Roseville.
