Leon Curtis

Leon “Leekie” B. Curtis Jr., 70, of Zanesville Ohio, passed away on February 14, 2026. Leon was born on May 23, 1955, to Leon B. Sr. and Elizabeth “Libby” Curtis. In addition to his father, Leon is also preceded in death by his son, Adrian L. Curtis; paternal and maternal grandparents; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Leon is survived by his mother, Elizabeth “Libby” Curtis; son, Andrew (Vanessa) Curtis; grandchildren, Kassianni Curtis and Karlee Curtis; siblings, Karen (Randy) Whitner and Brenda (Randy) Curtis; as well as many other friends and family.

Leon loved swimming, football and baseball when he was young. As he got older, he loved to have fun and socialize with family, his relationships and with his friends. Leon will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

A celebration of Leon’s life will be held in his honor on Monday, February 23, 2026, at The Greater Apostolic Church, starting at 11am. Elder Terrence Brown Officiating. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
