Level Notification Plan Returns to Muskingum County
The Winter driving season is just around the corner, and after a year-long trial period, Muskingum County is returning to Statewide level-1, level-2, level-3 snow emergency notification plan.
Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says last year, the county used green, yellow, and red to alert the public of intensified Winter driving conditions, however, back by popular demand is the level one through three system.
"Just from the feedback we’ve gotten from the public and our surrounding counties, at this point, we feel that everybody would like to go back to the levels. They’ve been with them for a long time and people would feel more comfortable," says Sheriff Lutz.
The system will be an advisory of one through three-with three meaning all roads are closed- stay at home.
