Licking County Broadcasting Executive Dies in Accident

A veteran area broadcasting executive was killed in a tragic accident in Licking County.   Longtime General Manager of WNKO/WHTH in Heath Tom Swank died in a single vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon on Hopewell Drive in Heath.  Police and Fire crews responded to an accident of a car upside down in a ditch at the entrance to Park Lanes Bowling Alley.  Swank was pronounced dead at the scene.  The radio station’s website says its staff is shocked and deeply saddened with the loss of the 73-year-old Swank.  “His untimely death will be felt by many in the community and we ask for prayers for his family and the staff at the radio station.”
