Light Up Your Golf Game

The Tri-Valley Girls Basketball Boosters want you to light up your golf game.

The boosters are hosting a golf tournament, but Connie Fellers from the group says, it’s not your average golf game.

“We came up with a fun twist on a traditional golf outing,” said Fellers. “We thought why not try night golf? It’s a really fun event. The golfers will get to play nine holes in the daylight and then another nine holes in the dark.”

Fellers says this is the first time the annual golf tournament has been set up this way.

“We have the tee boxes and greens lit up with special lighting,” she said. “Everyone will have glow necklaces so we know where people are. The balls are amazing. It’s a glow in the dark ball with a night stick in it. It’s as much fun to watch as it is to play in.”

The tournament will be held Saturday, August 29 at 6 p.m.
