Linda S. Stiers

Linda S. Stiers, 77 of Zanesville, died 5:11 AM, Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Highland Oaks in Mc Connelsville, under the care of Shrivers Hospice. She was born Wednesday, July 18, 1945, in Zanesville, the daughter of Harold Pride and Margaret (Pierce) Pride. She married David Stiers on Saturday, April 14, 1973.

Linda was born the only girl in a family of seven. She was employed with Essex Wire on the hill, Akro and retired from Heartstone Pottery. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Clint Cramer Chapter of the DAV and Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Post 29. She loved to play bingo, scratch off ticket, and singing Karaoke with her brother Jay Pride.

In addition to her husband of the home, Linda is survived by two sons, David A. Stiers and Jason R. Stiers; one grandchild, Gregory Stiers; two great grandchildren, Winston & Nova Jean; two brothers, Stan Pride and Earl (Mary Ellen) Pride and many nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Jim, George, Andy and Jay Pride.
