Liquor Agents: Stop Selling Alcohol at 2:00 a.m. Sunday

Booze

State Liquor Agents in Ohio are reminding bartenders at 2:00 a.m. Sunday, the time will change to 3:00 a.m. during Daylight Savings Time.  Agents with the Ohio Investigative Unit remind liquor establishments to stop selling alcohol before 2:00 a.m.  Establishments that are permitted to sell alcohol until 2:30 a.m. are impacted by the spring time change every year.  When the time springs forward to 3:00 a.m. it is now 30 minutes past the legal time for patrons to purchase,  possess, or consume alcoholic beverages.
