ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Fulltime employment while raising little ones can often be a very stressful juggling act.

Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center is creating a brand-new daycare facility named Little Farmers Academy that will foster a nurturing, educational, environment with flexible scheduling that aligns with the working parents.

“Little Farmers Academy was inspired by some of the other programs we’ve been operating, child care centers in New Lexington and we just recently started another program in South Zanesville. And so we have found a need for child care in the community and quality programming. It fits with our mission to make connections and create services that contribute to learning in the overall growth of the community,” MVESC Early Childhood Services Director Krystal McFarland said.

The MVESC is best known for their support with guiding and coordinating local school districts but early childhood services is a relatively new function that the educational service provider is looking to accommodate. And as the facility’s remodeling nears completion, MVESC is now hiring the staff that will bring it to life.

“You can go to our website, mvesc.org, from there you can go to our careers page, the positions are listed there, they’re under the childcare worker positions. We’re looking for really energetic individuals. If you do have any questions you’re more than welcome to reach out to the ESC. Our phone number is (740) 452-4518. Krystal or myself will be more than happy to help walk you through or answer any questions you do have,” MVESC Communications and HR Coordinator Brittani Zook said.

Enrollment is now open for the brand new, year-round childcare center, whose doors are set to open on September 29th. Little Farmers Academy is located at 1592 Fairview Road, on the North End of Zanesville.
