ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Leadership is a skillset that can prove advantageous even if you are the only one you lead.

Miles’ Mission President Michael Bullock talked about Live2Lead, an upcoming leader development minicourse aimed at sharpening the skillsets and broadening the mindsets of its attendees.

“It’s not just for those who are business leaders, it’s anyone who desires to have leadership skills. Whether it’s leading yourself, your family, a little league team or some other organization, you have an opportunity to hear some innovative speakers in the field of leadership and learn some different skillsets and opportunities to listen and learn from other people as well,” Bullock said.

Miles’ Mission has partnered with the Muskingum County Community Foundation and other local organizations to sponsor the 2nd annual Live2Lead interactive experience.

“Well what we do is we have a moderator, his name is Gabe Hoover, he’s out of Columbus. He is the one who helped us get this started here in Zanesville. And what people do is they listen for… Each speaker’s only 30 minutes. And so they hear the speaker and then for 15 minutes we have discussion. Mostly being able to share different ideas. And learn some topics, whether it be personal leadership of taking care of your mental health, resting,” Bullock said.

Live2Lead will take place from 7:30 to 12:30 Friday, February 20th, at the Zanesville-Muskingum County Welcome Center, located on the corner of Fifth and Shinnick Streets. Admission is $25 dollars and you can register by visiting mccf.org.
