Local Ambulance Service Changes Names

A local emergency response service wants the community to be aware of their recent change in name.

For the past 19 years, Community Ambulance Service has had the same name and logo up until now.

"The name change is going from Community Ambulance Service to Genesis Community Ambulance," said Genesis Community Ambulance Director of Operations, Tom Edminson. Genesis is the majority owner of the company, and we just wanted to bring that into the community more to spotlight the name of Genesis on the ambulance services. "

With the name change, their response vehicles also received a slightly new look to reflect the switch.

"A little bit different look is the logo you can see sign behind me," said Edminson. We actually added the box with the Genesis Commmunity Ambulance, opposed to a smaller portion and without the red box behind it, so it’s a little bit of different look but it still has the same theme behind it. "

The company is still working to switch over some of their branding so that everything at the Genesis Community Ambulance  is uniform.
