Local Area Student-Athletes Among Those to Receive OHSAA Scholarships
ZANESVILLE, OH
The OHSAA and its six district athletic boards have awarded a record $200,000 in scholarships to 200 recent high school graduates as part of its Scholar-Athlete Scholarship program. Not only is it the most money handed out by the organization, but also the most recipients in its thirty-year history.
Some local-area athletes receiving the $1,000 award include Raine Rodich out of Sheridan in the southeast district. Then in the east, we have Daylin Rivera, Noah Farley, and Taylor Sichina from Meadowbrook. Ridgewood is represented by Blake Wells and Kya Maloski. Then there’s Taylor Warehime out of Granville in the central district.
