Local Buckeye Fans Look Forward to First Game of the Season
The buckeyes are set to play Virginia Tech tonight at 8 o’clock, and fans are looking forward to watching it here locally.
We caught up with several local fans at the Zanesville Buffalo Wild Wings, already sporting their Ohio State attire, asking about how they embrace being fans of the 20-14 National Championship team.
“I’ve got a son in Florida, big buckeye fan and he flies his flag every Saturday in Tampa. He’ll be all fired up, calling me later probably just to see how good we are. It’s the start of the season, like I said we’ve got that bulls-eye on the back of us and we’ll see how good Barrett is…Just don’t make too many mistakes.” says Paul Albert
Fans are hopeful this year’s team has what it takes to avenge last year’s loss to the Hokies. And one even has a prediction of what tonight’s end score will be:
“I think we should go with the boy that got them there last year. And unlike last year I’ll give them two touchdowns, I’m going to predict about 42 to 14 but they’ve got a good team. I think we’re going to show them big time this year.” L.D. Davis explained
If you need a place to watch the game… It will be on at almost every bar and grill throughout the area.
