Local church opens for Thanksgiving day meal

SOUTH ZANESVILLE, Ohio – House of Grace is opening their doors to the community for Thanksgiving.
From 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Thanksgiving day House of Grace is serving a turkey, stuffing, and mashed potato meal to all who need a place to eat.
“We understand that a lot of people don’t have family, some don’t have food, whatever the situation might be,” Pastor Joe Dunlap said. “We just want to help our community and our church is so excited about helping. We’ll have a crew of people here ready to deliver meals and ready to help.”
Dunlap said they’ll also provide food to anyone unable to attend, but would like a meal provided.
“We’ve already started getting phone calls from people that have known we’ve done it the last three years and so they’re asking if we’re going to deliver food,” Dunlap said. “Yes, we are bringing food to you all. So it’s become family, they’re our family, Thanksgiving time we’re going to be there to feed them and help them.”
House of Grace is located at 2960 Maysville Pike for more information or to request a meal sent to another location call House of Grace at (740) 297-7990 or visit their website.
