Local Club is skipping the use of the Muskingum County Fairgrounds

 One local camping organization is skipping the use of Muskingum County Fairgrounds this year.

The Muskingum County Commissioners met with the Ohio Good Samaritan Camp Club who announced they will not return for their rally for the next three years at the fairgrounds.

"There was some miscommunication or indifference’s in the verbal contract that we had achieve with some member of the fair board pertaining to the cost we were supposed to pay for the rental of the fairground facilities for the next three years." said Pat Musselman, staff with the Ohio Good Samaritan Camp Club.

Musselman said his goal is to eventually return to the Muskingum County fairgrounds.

"it’s still my hopes in leaving here today that they could possibly have some input on maybe possibly the Good Sam coming back here," said Musselman.

The Good Samaritan Camp Club will be renting the Coshocton fairgrounds for the next three years.
