Local Farmer finds continued success in Downtown Farmers Market

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The local farmers market continues to find success in their new location.
June 28th is the third week for the Wednesday Farmer’s Market in downtown Zanesville. Owner of Curly Girl Farm, Kristen Baughman, explained the new location offers a new crowd to take advantage of local produce.
“Downtown is a really nice location. You get to see different faces from what you see on Saturday. A lot of people like to stop down when they get off work. People that work downtown or even not downtown stop by and it’s just a really convenient time and location for them so I’m glad that we are back down here.”
Baughman said the downtown market continues to grow week after week.
“Every week we have seen a little bit of an increase. We’ve increased in the number of vendors. Hopefully that will increase each week and like today at the beginning I really had a lot of costumers it was kind of hard to get set up actually there was so many people coming.”
For fresh local produce from vendors like Baughman’s head to the Freight Shops in Downtown Zanesville every Wednesday from 3 to 6 pm.
