Local Man Sentenced For Drive By Shooting

A Zanesville man accused of using an assault rifle to shoot into a home on Ridge Avenue was sentenced in court Monday.

24-year-old Christopher Smith was sentenced to four years in prison on charges of aggravated assault and tampering with evidence.
 

Authorities say on September 11, Smith shot into the home of Felippa Holbert at 2012 Ridge Avenue.

Holbert says 19 bullet holes were discovered in his home, and one bullet grazed a child.
