Local Organization Celebrates 28th year Anniversary

One local organization celebrated a very special anniversary this weekend that brought thousands through the door.

The Fieldhouse Family Sports and Wellness Center is celebrating their 28 year anniversary. This weekend they had over 1000 people from eight states walking through their doors. For an AKC Shetland Sheepdog competition on the fanatic’s field and a huge girls indoor softball tournament.

"We got about 1000 people here today from all different parts of the country. We actually got about eight states represented in the Shetland Sheepdog Association AKC ESPN Agility show where they do a lot of competition. Also, the Roadrunner Softball has a 14 and under girl softball tournament all weekend; Friday, Saturday and Sunday," said Amicone.

To celebrate their 28 year anniversary, they had a very unique weekend special where the prices were the same as they were in 1988.

"It’s really rewarding for our family, our organization to see the same folks, for the last 28 years and that second generation of folks coming in. Because, they’re happy with what they’ve had over the last 28 years. We’ve able to keep our fees low our prices low. That’s the reason why we are backing down our prices to to 1988," said Amicone.

In the next 28 years the Fieldhouse Family Sports and Wellness Center looks forward to seeing the family’s organization taken to the next level.
