Locals Mourn the Loss of a United Way Employee

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The United Way of Muskingum, Perry, and Morgan Counties and the community is mourning the loss of a woman who lost her battle to cancer.
65 year old Audrey A. Foster, of Zanesville, died at 12:55 p.m on Monday, July 25 at The Arthur G. James – OSU Medical Center in Columbus. Foster worked at WCVZ Radio Station, the Alfred Carr center, and United Way where she was a Resource Developmental Director.
“It’s a struggle. I don’t even know what the days and weeks ahead are going to bring. But, again we know that we’re not suffering this lost alone. We’re suffering it with many other people. We feel that the best legacy we can provide that we can ensure that Audrey leaves is to build on the work that she’s done,” said Meg Deedrick, Executive Director, the United Way MPM.
In addition to Fosters life as a professional career woman she was also very active in the community.
“She worked up until the very end and was very dedicated to her family, community and to making this world a better place,” said Deedrick.
Friends and family may call from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at the New Hope Full Gospel Church, 3560 East Pike, Zanesville, with funeral services being held at 4:00 P.M. with Rev. Joseph A. DiVincenzo officiating. She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery in Sonora.
