Logan Mott

Logan Dwight Mott, a.k.a. “Ginger”, (born April 1, 2004 in Olathe, KS, to Ashley Mott and Daniel Mott Jr.) a champion to all whom he crossed paths with, was taken from us entirely too soon.

Logan, after a long day of work on the tractor down at the farm tending to his Mimi (Lori Mott), had one last home-cooked meal from his dad, one last good time, and talked of all the future plans we had and those that were closest to him. He had a few Mountain Dews and rushed the tractor back to say goodbye to his grandparents, Kenneth and Louise Mason.

Just after midnight on June 2, 2024, while riding home for the last time in his favorite obnoxiously loud big ass truck that he loved so much, he was gone in the most horrible of moments. He was found and cared for by one of his many friends (Larry Payne of Hopewell OH), who helped him not only be a better man but helped him fight for his life. Logan passed being held by his future wife, Madisyn Mickey.

Logan grew up in Senecaville, OH. He attended Rolling Hills schools, played football, baseball, and wrestled for Meadowbrook Middle and High School. He loved tinkering with his toys, loved the outdoors, and he knew every inch of the 92 acres he grew up on. Logan loved his family so much, both blood and non-blood, and he had no problem telling you he was favored, maybe a little, by his grandparents and Mom. He cherished and missed his little sister, Marley Mott, and would have done absolutely anything for her at the drop of a hat. Logan lit up the room when he walked in for so many. He had that goofy, mischievous laugh that made you want to take part in whatever shenanigans. Logan would give you the shirt off his back without question, and he was a truly kind soul that just wanted to help anyone and everyone he could. Even though you could occasionally hear the foulest of vulgarity spewing from his mouth at all hours while gaming, he touched so many and cared for so many worldwide. To say he will be missed is an absolute understatement – the world just won’t be the same without him.

Logan is survived by his fiancée, Madisyn Mickey of Hopewell; his mother, Ashley Mott of Grand Junction CO; his father, Daniel Mott Jr. and fiancée, Jo McKahan, of Senecaville; sister, Marley Mott of Grand Junction CO; brother, Jourdyn Husband of Grand Junction CO; grandparents, Lori Mott of Senecaville, Susan & Robin Husband of Grand Junction, and Elaine Reed of Wiaumama FL; and great-grandparents, Kenny & Dolly Mason of Senecaville and Mike & Judy Husband of Huntingdon PA.

A celebration of life for the friends and family of Logan will be held at the Skyline Event Center (55910 Skyline Drive, Senecaville OH 43780) on Wednesday (JUNE 19, 2024) from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
