Lorena Sternwheeler Cruise

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Lorena Sternwheeler officially kicked off last weekend and they have many exciting events taking place this summer.
The Lorena Sternwheeler holds 75 passengers and travels up the Muskingum River throughout the summer and fall. Zanesville Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce Vice President Kelly Ashby said the kick off to the season was wonderful and she’s looking forward to the unique cruises coming up.
“We’re just thrilled that we have such a treasure right here in Zanesville, Muskingum County and a lot of fantastic, unique cruises coming up this week,” said Ashby. “So we have twilight cruises coming up, dinner cruises, and lunch cruises.”
The Lorena Sternwheeler will host Wine Glass Wednesday on June 14th as well as entertainment cruises with Dr. Laura Schuman and the Wayfarers throughout the season.
“It is a historical Muskingum River trail,” Ashby said. “So that’s kind of unique aspect as well and it’s just fun to showcase the Lorena, but also incorporate entertainment and other fun things that there are to see and do in Muskingum County with that Lorena cruise.”
Ashby said you can find the Lorena cruise schedule and other information on the Lorena Sternwheeler Facebook page and on visitzanesville.info by clicking the attractions link followed by the Points of Interest link.
