Lorna D. Jones (February 19, 1928 – February 6, 2016)

Lorna D. Jones, 87, of Utica, died at 10:50 A.M. Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Utica Care Center, Utica. She was born February 19, 1928 in Rinard Mills, a daughter of the late Donald A. and Edna Rinard Jones. She retired from Old Towne Cleaners and was a longtime member of Fair Oaks Baptist Church.

Surviving are a half-brother, Harold (Barbara) Schneider of Lowell; two nieces, Brenda (Doug) Morris of Marietta and Cathie (Steve) Thompson of Dublin; a special friend and caregiver, Beverly (Donald) Wolford of Zanesville; two great nieces Rebecca Morris and Emily Thompson; and two great nephews, Josh Morris and Evan Thompson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by uncle, Gerald E. Jones; and a step-sister, Wanda Dunkle.

No calling hours will be held. Friends and family may gather at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 for a graveside service at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Mark Shoemaker officiating.
