Louise Kyle

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Louise Kyle, who left us on August 5, 2025, just four days after celebrating her 96th birthday. Born on August 1, 1929, Louise lived a remarkable life filled with love, kindness, and an unwavering compassion for those around her.
Louise is preceded in death by her parents, Milton H. Walker and Mary E. Walker; husband, Calvin S. Kyle; daughter, Cindy Murray Largent; siblings, Mildred Brown, Thomas Walker, Dora May Holt, Milton Walker Jr., Sherman Walker, Margaret Willis, Marva Haliburton, Nora Walker and Rose Mary Walker; son in law, Roy Ledsom
Louise leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Michael Kyle, Michelle (Carl) Hunt, Robert (Linda) Kyle; son in law, John (Chandra) Largent; grandchildren, Nicole (Ted) Brown, Carl Hunt Jr., Kyle Murray, Shakala Kyle (Duane Garber) and Adrian Largent; great grandchildren, Mya, Mahki and Lauren; sister, Edna Daniels; brother, Mark Walker; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
Louise was a beacon of light in her community, known for her warm smile and gentle spirit. She dedicated her life to nurturing her family and friends, always putting others before herself. Her wisdom and generosity touched the hearts of many, and her legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. Louise enjoyed watching MSNBC, cooking, planting flowers and doing picture boards in her free time. She was an outstanding member of the community, always doing work that was needed including continuing on the 8th ward reunion. Louise had awards from NAACP, she was a member of Union Baptist church, where she served on the Usher Board. She was a cosmetologist for over 50 years, obtaining her licenses in 1952 when it was not easy to do as a woman of color. Louise also enjoyed dancing to anything she could electric slide to.
Louise Kyle will be dearly missed but lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched. Her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and community.
You may call on the family on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 10 am until 12 pm at Union Baptist Church in Zanesville, with funeral services starting at 12 pm. Burial will follow in Woodlawn cemetery. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
