Lowe’s Heroes Project at Restoration Park

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Lowe’s Heroes Project spent all of Tuesday, September 19th working at Restoration Park.
They built a potting shed and donated some gardening supplies as well. From wheelbarrows to rakes and watering cans it will be lined up with multiple tools for the park. Joe Nezbeth, who is a part of the Lowes Family, said it was great day filled with teamwork.
“It brings families together,” Nezbeth said. “It brings the community together. That’s our whole purpose is to make life better for everybody.”
Nezbeth said Lowe’s has received so much support from businesses around Zanesville so they really enjoy giving it back. The purpose of the Lowe’s Heroes Project is to try and develop community involvement and betterment and this specific project is to help bring the community a place to gather.
“Heroes project has been around probably as long as the store has been in Zanesville. We’ve helped out numerous things like building a wheelchair accessible ramps, developing play lots for kids to play in,” Nezbeth said.
