Lucille Echelberry, 93 of Chandlersville Road, Carlwick, passed away 2:06 am March 22, 2012 at Genesis Hospital.

Lucille was born March 7th 1919 in High Hill, Meigs Twp., the daughter of the late Chalmer and Martha A. (McIntire) Johnson. She devoted her life to others. She lived for her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Duncan Falls United Methodist Church and a friend of the Ark Spring Baptist Church.

Lucille is survived by her daughter Shirley Hartman of Duncan Falls and a son Jerry Echelberry of South Zanesville; her grandchildren Bobby and Mike Hartman and Jennifer Moore (Rick Shaw); her great grandchildren Branson and Kendyll Hartman and Kirsten Moore; a brother-in-law Bernard Echelberry and several nieces and nephews who were very special to her.

In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by her husband Charles Echelberry who passed away Oct 25, 1992; her sister Laura Johnson and two grandsons Jason and Jerry Jr. Echelberry.

Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Friday at the Farus Funeral Home, Duncan Falls where funeral services will be 2 pm Saturday with Rev. Loren Anderson officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
