Lucille “Kathy” Yerian

Lucille Kathryn “Kathy” Yerian, 75, of Byesville, passed away Sunday (December 31, 2023) at Genesis Health, Zanesville, surrounded by her family.

She was born November 18, 1948 in Zanesville, daughter of the late James E. Brown and Elizabeth J. (Burnett) Brown.

Kathy retired from Plastech/LDM after more than twenty-five years of service. She was also self-employed in the residential and commercial cleaning business for twenty years.

She was a member of the Stop 9 Church of Christ.

Kathy enjoyed playing bingo, going to the dog track, and going to the camper to sit in the sun. She loved to read. She especially loved going to Hunter’s ball games.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Daniel Brown; a sister, Nelva Householder; and a grandchild, Madison Elizabeth Yerian.

Kathy is survived by her two sons, James “Jimmy” (& Gina) Yerian Jr. of Byesville and Jason (& Charity) Yerian of Byesville; her daughter, Stephanie (& Mike) Bond of Caldwell; two sisters, Rita LaPradd of Cockerton PA and Marsha (& Larry) Wickham of Cumberland; her grandchildren, Joshua (& Jessica), Samantha (& Ryan), Cody (& Jess), Chase, Lexi (& Dom), Hunter (& Avery), Tanner (& Alexa), and Kallie; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews; her longtime companion, Daniel “Dog” Lashley; and her dog, Jake.
