Lynch signs with Wheeling Jesuit

Rosecrans soccer standout Darby Lynch signed with D-II Wheeling Jesuit University on Tuesday.

Lynch leaves the Lady Bishops as the all-time leading scorer with 68 goals, 52 assists, and 188 points.

Lynch earned all-Ohio honors her senior season, first-team all-ECOL honors for four seasons and first-team all-district accolades for three seasons.

Led by Lynch, the Lady Bishops’ senior class is the winningest in school history. Rosecrans advanced to the regional final in 2015 and paid a visit to the regional semifinal in 2014.

The Wheeling Jesuit Lady Cardinals finished 4-12-2 in 2015. Three local players are listed on the roster: Kristin Eaton (River View), Emily Hartley (Coshocton) and Cameron Smith (West Muskingum).

Brechbill Chooses Heidelberg

Licking Valley football player Elijah Brechbill signed with Heidelberg University on Tuesday. Brechbill starred for the Panthers on offense, defense, and special teams, earning first-team all-LCL honors and honorable mention all-Ohio accolades his senior season.
