Lynn Hill

Lynn Marie Hill MCCONNELSVILLE: Lynn Marie Hill, 48, passed away in the early evening hours, Monday, August 24th 2026 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born November 20th, 1977 in Marietta, Ohio to the late Robert (Bob) Hill and Velma Flowers Hill. Lynn attended Morgan High School.

She is survived by her mother, Velma (Flowers) Hill; and three siblings, Rebecca (Morgan) Smith of McConnelsville, Robert Hill Jr. of Crooksville, and Darrin (Heather Brazell) Hill of McConnelsville. She had seven nieces and nephews, Thelma Nichols, Morgan Smith Jr. both of McConnelsville and Jessica Murphey of Columbus, Daniel Hill of Zanesville and Ashleigh Hill of Dresden, Darrian Hill of El Paso and Dahlia Hill of Columbus; and many great nieces and nephews.

Lynn loved her Lord Jesus Christ and spending time with her family telling stories about her childhood growing up on the family farm. Lynn loved books and reading stories with her mother, Velma. Lynn was the glue that held her loving family together with daily visits and phone calls with her mother. Weekly calls, text messages and funny Facebook post that she would share to brighten her family and friends’ day.

Calling hours will be held Monday August 31st, 2026, from 10am-12pm; Funeral following at Noon at Burrell Funeral Home located at 414 Lasalle Street, Zanesville, Ohio. Funeral Officiating by Pastor Stephen Hale. Arrangements are entrusted to Burrell Funeral Services. There will be a graveside service at Dutch Hill Cemetery McConnelsville, Ohio
