Making the most out of a snow day

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Many kids had the day off school for a snow day and some kids took advantage of the weather and went sledding.
Four friends went to the Muskingum County Fairgrounds to ride down the hill on their sleds. After a slippery walk, and a few falls walking up the hill, the kids rode down together. Brady North said sledding is a great time for friends to come together.
“It was very fun for us all because we realize that it’s a chance for us to be able to unwind and be with each other and reconnect with each other. So, we can come here and have a great time,” said North.
Zoe Clarke had the idea to go sledding and even though it was cold they couldn’t wait to go down the hill together. When asked what their favorite part of the ride, they all pointed at the jump at the bottom of the hill.
“It was pretty fun,” said Austin Lemmon. “Bottom when I got the face full of snow,” said North. “Bottom the hill, when you go in the air,” said Clarke.
Brandon Lemmon said he fell multiple times walking up the hill but, the slide down made being cold worth it.
