Man Charged in BP Armed Robbery

Zanesville Police say a Muskingum County man has been charged in connection to the armed robbery of Zanesville gas station. Captain Tony Coury says 23-year-old D. Landrius Krouskoupf is facing one count each of armed robbery, aggravated burglary, kidnapping and theft. Coury says it happened just after midnight Wednesday morning the BP Gas Station at Maple and Forest Avenues. A customer walking out of the convenience store was bumped by a man entering the store. When the customer looked back the suspect jumped over the counter with a knife and demanded money from the clerk. Moments later Zanesville Police and Muskingum County Sheriff’s Deputies arrived on the scene and made an arrest. Krouskoupf is being held in the Zanesville City Jail on 300-thousand dollars bond. A second person arrested that night was not charged.
