Man Charged in Wednesday Drug Bust

The Zanesville City and County Joint Drug Task Force has made an arrest in a four-month long investigation.

Wednesday, authorities served a search warrant at a Linden Avenue residence and arrested 35-year-old Mark A. Vohs, of Zanesville.

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says during the search a small amount of money, marijuana, prescription pain medication and methamphetamine was located at the residence.

Vohs is being charged with 2 counts of trafficking in drugs a felony of the third degree, one count trafficking in drugs a felony of the fourth degree and two counts possession of drugs a misdemeanor of the second degree and drug paraphernalia.

The investigation stemmed from various complaints from the community about suspicious activity at the residence. The sheriff’s office said more arrests are likely in the future from this investigation.

Vohs is being held in the Zanesville City Jail.
