Man Flees after Accident

The Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol says it’s searching for a driver who was involved in an accident on Licking Road.

It happened around eight p.m.

Scanner traffic indicated receiving several calls of a car flipping multiple times. The Chevy black Camaro did sustain visible, moderate damage.

Troopers say the driver appears to have fled on foot, and they are uncertain if he was injured.

The road was shut down for more than an hour as crews worked to secure the scene.
