Man Hurt After Kerosene Heater Explosion

An area man was hurt after an explosion today. The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office sent emergency crews to 3830 Cannelville Road to investigate a report of a kerosene heater explosion. One person was taken to the hospital. The name of the victim was not released. We’re told he suffered burns and was flown by medical helicopter to Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. No other details have been released.
