Man Pleads Not-Guilty on Drug Charges

A man arrested in an October drug buy bust was arraigned Wednesday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.

39-year-old Michael Harris of Zanesville pled not-guilty to charges of trafficking in cocaine, possession of cocaine, permitting drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia in front of Judge Mark Fleegle.

He was arrested October 29th in the area of Underwood Street and Veterans Memorial Bridge. Officers say a patrol unit stopped Harris and found between 10 to 100 grams of powder cocaine.
