Man Sentenced in Arson

A Zanesville man is sentenced on reduced arson charges Monday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.

40-year-old Paul Starcher admitted to fifth-degree-felony attempted arson, in connection with a May fire at a vacant home on Luck Avenue.

He was originally charged with one count of arson.

Judge Mark Fleegle sentenced Starcher to two years community control and 100 hours of public service,
