Man Sentenced to 18 Months

A 35-year-old Zanesville man was sentenced Wednesday in Common Pleas Court after being arrested in a drug buy bust in June.

Marlon Barnett was sentenced to 18 months in prison and has to forfeit nearly $1300 after pleading guilty to trafficking in crack cocaine, a fourth degree felony.

Barnett was arrested June 11th on Jewett Drive when the Special Response Team and Narcotics Unit conducted a buy bust.
