Man Sentenced to 23 years in Prison

Monday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court a Zanesville man was sentenced to 23 years in prison for crimes stemming from December 2008.

20-year-old Blake Riley received the sentence from Judge Kelly Cottrill. Riley was found guilty at trial of eight counts including: kidnapping, aggravated burglary and theft. The crimes committed took place when Riley was just 17-years-old.

In addition to his 23 year prison sentence, Riley must also pay restitution of $15,731.21.
