Maple Avenue Accident Injures 2

Two people are taken to Good Samaritan Hospital after an accident on Maple Avenue.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. near Locust Avenue.

Zanesville Police Lieutenant Tony Coury says 50-year old Shawn Riley and his passenger, 70-year-old Mary Graves, were traveling south on Maple Avenue when they were rear-ended by 19-year-old James Craig and his passenger, 18-year-old Brittany Hollingshead.

Riley and Graves were transported with what ZPD is calling non life-threatening injuries.

Craig was cited for assured cleared distance.
