March 1st Meat Raffle at Amrou Grotto

ZANESVILLE, OH –Saturday marks another exciting meat raffle, and it’s shaping up to be a great night for everyone.

The South Zanesville Fire Department and the Amrou Grotto have teamed up again for another meat raffle.

“This Saturday, March 1st is our next meat raffle down at the Grotto,” South Zanesville Fire Chief Russell Taylor said. “Our last meat raffle we had 75 people show up, fantastic night…on our final table we had 147 packs of meat to choose from. Everybody had a great time.” 

With an array of winnings to select, this event is sure to be another hit. You’ll have the chance to win everything from steaks to roasts, all ready for your next meal.

“Doors will open at 6 pm, it will start at 7 so come on out, get some great meat. It’s freshly cut on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning ready to go. There will be a lot of steaks, a lot of nice roasts, there will be pork tenderloins that weigh up to 5 pounds apiece, chicken, hamburger meat, whole hams, turkey breasts…anything you can think of, we’ll have.

Whether you’re a steak lover, roast enthusiast, or a fan of hearty hams and tenderloins, this meat raffle has something for everyone.

Admission for this night of fun is just $5, and all proceeds will be split between the Amrou Grotto and the South Zanesville Fire Department.
