Margaret M. Warner age 103, of Carlisle, OH passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Altercare Summit Acres Skilled Nursing & Rehab in Caldwell, OH. She was born March 12, 1923 in Noble County, OH, daughter of the late Arthur and Bernice Forshey Crum.

She was a member of the St. Michael Catholic Church in Carlisle, OH where she was active in the Catholic Women’s Club and the choir. Margaret enjoyed quilting, embroidering, and playing Bingo as well as working in her plants and flowers. She was a gifted cook whether it be making the best pies or her homemade noodles. Margaret’s most favorite times were spent with her family on her front porch. She worked for many years at Summit Acres Nursing Home where she spent countless hours caring for her community.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Paul C. Warner, whom she married August 15, 1937 and who passed away April 30, 1981; infant daughter Phyllis Warner; brother Clyde Crum; sisters Virginia Watson and Betty McGee; daughter-in-law Ruth Warner.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children Robert “Bob” Warner of Carlisle, James “Jim” (Alice) Warner of Summerfield, Rosanna (Jeff) Johnson of Carlisle, and Donald Warner of Carlisle; grandchildren Rhonda (John) Varhola, Ron (Suzan) Warner, Reva (Brian) Moore, Roger (Megan) Warner, David (Kim) Warner, Chuck (Michelle) Warner, Kevin (Beth) Warner, Don Johnson, Mark (Amber) Johnson, Michael (Brittany) Johnson, Shelly (Alex) Noll, Rachael (Rich) Bieber, Maggie (Mike Haga) Yeagle, and Joe Yeagle; 28 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Monday, April 6, 2026 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, with a Rosary Service at 7:30 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church, 44935 Carlisle Rd., Caldwell, Ohio 43724, with Rev. Father Thomas Nelson serving as celebrant. Burial will follow with the Rite of Committal at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery, where Margaret will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Paul.
