Marjorie A. Curl (March 13, 1931 – February 23, 2016)

Marjorie Ann Curl, 84, of Merritt Island, FL, died at 4:44 A.M. on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at the Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach, FL. She was born March 13, 1931, in Crooksville, a daughter of the late George and Maude Mercer. With her husband of fifty years, Larry, she co-owned and operated Curl’s IGA in Duncan Falls, and was a member of Coburn United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children, Vicki S. Temple, Douglas R. (Karin) Curl, Jodi A. (Anthony) Grindley and Kevin G. (Beth) Curl; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Larry E. Curl, whom she married January 12, 1951; a granddaughter Annie Curl; and her twin sister Rosalie M. Deeds.

Friends and family may call two hours prior to the funeral service, which will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday 27, 2016, from BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with Pastor Dean Cole officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Larry at Crooksville Cemetery, Crooksville.
