Marjorie A. Siemer, 93, of New Lexington, Ohio passed peacefully at 11:07am on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at her home.

Born on April 18, 1932 in Glouster, Ohio the daughter of the late Cecil and Leila Post Dew.

Margie was a member of St Rose Catholic Church and former member of the Grandview Hts CCL mother’s club. She also helped operate the Clothes Closet in New Lex. She was a homemaker and babysitter for many children who lovingly called her grandma, even though not related. She loved going to yard sales and shopping, and lunches with Tosie, and vacations and traveling with her daughters.

Survived by nine children, Donna (Bill) Gabbard of Junction City, Mary Jean (Doug) Welch of Pataskala, Steve (Carolyn) Siemer of New Lexington, Teresa (Jonathan) Medaugh of Corning, Tom (Chris) Siemer of New Lexington, Tim Siemer of New Lexington, Scott (Mechelle) Siemer of Somerset, Jamie (Kelly) Siemer of Strongsville, and John Siemer of New Lexington; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren totaling 90; brother-in-law William (Gloria) Siemer, Sisters-in-law Rosemarie Yuhas, Barbara Siemer, and Delores Siemer.

In addition to her parents Marjorie was preceded in death by husband of over 72 years, Robert Siemer; 1 grandson, Jacob Siemer; brothers and sisters, Eldon Dew, Mona Byrd, Eston Dew, Donna Mae Schoonover, Ellis Dew and Thomas Dew.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2025 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio, where the rosary will be recited at 8:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Saint Rose Catholic Church, 309 North Main Street, New Lexington, Ohio with Father Emmanuel Adu Addai as Celebrant. Marjorie will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband in Community Gardens Cemetery.

The family would like to extend their gratitude for the loving care of the hospice team, Laurel Anderson, Angela Strate, Susan Collins, and Seeyong Lee.
