Mark Anthony Nader, 55, passed away peacefully at 12:10 AM on Sunday, May 3, 2026 after a courageous battle with Cancer.
He was born on July 26, 1970, in Zanesville, Ohio. Mark was the son of the late Albert “Al” Azar Nader and Clara Vivian Moore Nader.
Mark was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and began working at his father’s ice cream shop, Al’s 33 Flavors located in the Zanesville Colony Square Mall, starting at just 14 years old. He graduated from Zanesville high school in 1988 and after working at the Ice Cream Shop he was employed by several local businesses starting with Longaberger Basket Company, then Kellogg Company, Muskingum Iron & Metal and most recently Economy Linen.
Mark enjoyed riding motorcycles and cherished spending time with his friends and family.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Karen Michelle Dorr Nader; Three children, MacKenzie (Cabbott) Harmon, Mason Nader, and Mitchell Nader; his three grandchildren, Clara, Case, and Cash Harmon. He is also survived by his brother, Andy (Colleen) Nader; his nieces, Megan (Matt) King and Abby (Tristin) Moran; great nieces & nephews, Owen King, Everly Moran & Hayes Moran; and dear friends, Michael Cooper and Lisa Mills Nader (his children’s mother).
Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Thursday May 7th with funeral service to follow at 6:00 PM with Fr. (Available Priest) at Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home. A private burial will be held in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
