Marlene A. Edwards (April 1, 1953 – December 9, 2013)

Marlene A. Edwards, 60, of Zanesville, died at 10:46 P.M. on Monday, December 9, 2013 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born April 1, 1953, in Zanesville, a daughter of Thelma Strohacker Crawmer Woods of Newark and the late Donald Crawmer. She had worked in the Housekeeping Department for Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital.

Surviving in addition to her mother are a son, Kris (Mollie) Edwards of Nashport; three grandchildren, Chelsey, Chase, and Tess; one sister, Margaret (Jeff) Shepler of Nashport; three brothers, Bill (Karen) Crawmer of Heath, Ralph (Cathy) Crawmer of Heath, and Jeffery Crawmer of Newark; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 12, 2013, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 13, 2013, with Pastor Dean Cole officiating. She will be laid to rest at Frazeysburg Cemetery, Frazeysburg.
