Marlene “MiMi” Sedlar, age 85 of Zanesville, OH died at home surrounded by her loving family 9:00 AM, Monday, May 22, 2017 in Zanesville.
She was born Friday, January 1, 1932 in McKeesport, PA the daughter of Eugene Geissler and Ruth (Levine) Geissler. She was married on Sunday, June 29, 1952 to Ronald “Ron” Sedlar who preceded her in death on Friday, December 10, 2010.
She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. She was a member of the Boston, PA Volunteer Fire Department Women’s Auxiliary. She was a member of AARP and the Red Hat Society of Zanesville.
She is survived by two daughters: Debra (Mark) Cleary of Zanesville and Renee’ (Anthony) Conte of Boston, PA; two sons: Dean (Mary) Sedlar of Ruffs Dale, PA and Vance (Lynda) Sedlar of Port Vue, PA; seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and one sister: Delores Frasier of Michigan.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by eight siblings.
